Merit Badge classes are either half-day or full-day sessions, depending on the badge. Consider the difficulty of the merit badge, the length of time needed, and the prerequisites before you sign up. Register online, then print your registration confirmation and send it with your check for $45 to: Troop 164 Merit Badge University, 659 Carlsbad St., Milpitas, CA 95035. Make check out to "BSA Troop 164" and write the Scout’s name, troop number, and class(es) on the memo line. Note that some courses might require one or more additional meetings with the counselor.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

1. Space is limited for each class, so sign up as early as possible! Deadline: May 05, 2024.
2. Read the Merit Badge Pamphlet before the event and BRING it with you!
3. Do the prerequisites for the merit badge, which are listed on the website.
4. Arrive at the event (in Class A uniform) with your Scoutmaster-signed BLUE CARD(s), Merit Badge Pamphlet(s), prerequisites, paper, and pen/pencil.  We will be using only Blue Cards, not Scoutbook, to record sign-off of requirements.
5. Refund of registration fee will be given for cancellations received on or before May 05, 2024.  NO refund will be given after May 05, 2024.

Lunch, drink and gift included with registration fee; snacks will be available for purchase at the breaks.
